...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river in
Illinois...

  La Moine River at Ripley.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions change.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...La Moine River at Ripley.

* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Township road, downstream of the gage on
  the right bank, begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.1
    feet this evening.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Thursday was 18.0 feet.
